I was there 70-71. It was sometime near the first of 71, I think it was March. There was an attack. This was in the afternoon, early evening. I and several others were at the base theater. I was injured, slightly, left leg, arm, forehead. I need the info to finish a claim I have with the Veterans Ad. I have asked for the medical records but they tell me they may not be able to get them.

I was in Vietnam from January 19, 1972 through August 6, 1972. I was stationed at Bien Hoa with the 1st Calvary Division. I recall 5 rocket attacks. There were 4 small rocket attacks, and one large rocket attack. The large rocket attack happened on August 1, 1972. Approximately 70 to 80 rockets hit the Army and Air Force base at Bien Hoa. One of the smaller rocket attacks came on the day President Richard Nixon made his historic visit to Red China. The North Vietnamese wanted to let us know that our Commander in Chief was in Red China.

I was 1 0f the K9 teams sent from TSN 377th K9 in mid 1972 and we were there until Paris Peace Accords was signed on Jan 27th 1973. We were given 2 days to pack and go to TSN to go back to the world on Jan 31 1973.

Hi--I am trying to find out any information about mortar attacks at Bien Hoa AB from Oct. 1970-Jul 1971---My Dad was there in the 22 TASS; 6251 CAMS; and 19 TASS. He has blocked most of this from his mind, but is now trying to remember names--he seen a friend of his get blown up during a mortar attack. An all clear signal was called and after they came out there was another attack!!! Please give me any information you may have or lead me to a site that may help us!!
