Baghdad Bombing Damage. 1 April 2003
This resampled one-meter color image shows the smoke filled skies over Baghdad, Iraq. Space Imaging's IKONOS satellite took this image April 1, 2003. Oil fires are clearly visible along with bomb damage from U.S.-led Coalition attacks.
