In the heart of Bloemfontein city is an odd little hill called Naval hill. That Bloemfontein is as far from any sea, and therefore navy, being stuck in the middle of South Africa is hilarious enough. But then you add the animals that are kept, from wildebees to kudu to ostriches and even giraffe.
On arriving in Bloem we decided to trek up the hill and see what we could see. To our amazement and delight we spotted many wild animals including 3 giraffe. Image by
